Hasegawa Hiroshi

  Present: Manager and a Japanese patent attorney of Hasegawa Patent Law Firm.    In this firm, he deals with filing of patent, utility model, industrial design and trademark applications, prosecutions of them and consulting Japanese clients at technical fields regarding mainly Material Science and Mechanical Engineering.    He has been a patent adviser of Yokohama area business network and advised a lot of companies as to IP Strategy.    He is positive about Japanese and Chinese intellectual property.
  1997-2008: Partner of IAT WORLD Patent Law firm, one of middle-size patent law firms in Tokyo, Japan.    He experienced not only preparing and filing of patent, utility model, industrial design and trademark applications, appealing to Japan Patent Office (JPO) but also oppositions at Intellectual Property High Court against JPO's decision about several intellectual property cases.    Further, he experienced patent applications to China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea, USA, Germany, India, Russia, Brazil, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Philippines, Indonesia, Israel, etc.
  1987-1997: Employee of Showa Denko, K.K. which is one of the largest chemical companies in Japan.    He worked for the company as a researcher and developed new many materials including each ceramic powder for polishing glass or silicon wafer, ceramic capacitor and ceramic turbine blade.
